What is it? According to the dictionary it is from a Stork. Is this correct?

The marabou feathers I use come from turkeys. They are located on the rump. As far as I know, this is where the marabou feathers we buy come from also.

Marabou feathers can be found on several different birds however, most commercially available Marabou used for fishing lures/flies is from the Turkey.

If you're lucky....your wife might have a feather boa made of marabou....
