Plastic so the possibility of injury is less, super cheap (like $8 to your door), they float, and the white one glows in the dark. Sweet for controlling a fish in the net and much quicker releases on smaller pike and the like.

And probably not in Musky fishing either .

Location: oswego, il | If used properly they are fine supporting the belly when you hold a fish. The boga is nicer on the fish than the cheaper versions because the head swivels and better for the fish when it tries to gator roll. Do a search on boga grips on this site the pros and cons have been discussed countless times.

| Yea wasn’t looking for opinions. I know how to use one safely in the net and it’s for emergency purposes only on my solo trip. They are great tools if you know how to use properly |
