Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Sent the field out this morning in heavy rain with the forecast calling for cloudy, hot, windy conditions throughout the day, with rain moving back in mid/late afternoon. We've been lucky so far with the weather in these 1 day tournaments, all 3 have had conditions less than optimal for mass boat traffic. Pre-fishing reports have been fair, with anglers targeting the typical cabbage edges and a few finding some suspended baitfish. Stay tuned, I'll have the final results posted this evening. Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Rain, wind, humidity, low fish activity....Kind of sums up the PMTT Regional on the Minocqua Chain today. Teams fished from one end of the Chain to the other, shallow bucktails to deep trolling, and only managed to trick 2 muskies into eating. The winning fish came on a bucktail in 12 feet of water. With lower than average boat traffic and what looked to be good fishing conditions Ma Nature decided to throw a curve and put the muskies on a hunger strike. Another fun tournament, thank you to all that fished and a big thank you to the Boathouse on Lake Minocqua for letting us use their docks.
