Any tricks out there for getting more depth using Paddle Tails swimbaits such as the Poseidon, Swimming Dawg, or Shadzillas without giving up speed of retrieve? Bigger hooks, adding internal weight, etc.? What has worked for you?

I haven't done it yet but I was thinking about trying a 1 oz tungsten bullet built into one of my homemade flouro leaders.

Adding a bell sinker would work but as i stated in another thread with the shack attack sub zero i counted it down.

I added weight to the internal harness on some of my Shadzillas.  Haven't figured out how to add weight to a Poseidon or MI Swimming Dawg.  Still ooking for ideas.

im doing an eggs sinker with a .062 wire with loop at both ends one is directly tied to the eye of the lure and i fix my leader snap to the end of the other part. i was also looking for a 1 oz of tungsten but at 10 bux for 1 oz i have chose old junk lead
