| What water temp do you find fish fight their best? I seem to think their energy level is best in the upper 60's. Or does water/fish temp mean little? There are always exceptions but looking for what is ideal. |

According to the literature, this is the temp range where the muskies are at the ideal metabolism level. |

Location: Phoenixville, PA | This is just my experience, but the fish I have hooked in November and December, when the water is in 40's, pull very hard and know how to put up a fight. Now, at that point in the season, they have put on a good measure of weight, and that could be more the reason why they seem to fight so hard. |

Location: SE, WI. | It is interesting how the fight differs from the spring/ Summer months, to the late fall fight from Mr. Musky.
Seems like the summer fight is head shakes, and runs, where in the late fall, it seems like headshakes, then lots of twists/ and rolling up in line at the boat!!! Interesting how their fight is different in fall, and Why they do that rolling stunt, in Cold water??
