| Just got back from Lac Seul and staying at Moosehorn Lodge in Sioux Lookout. We fished the SE end of Lac Seul . Had plenty of fish up and chasing; but getting them to commit was a different matter. Did not see any true monsters on this trip. 45" was our largest in the boat. Fish were in shallow cabbage on bucktails and large spinner baits( Funky Chickens- modified the blades to a #8 willow leaf ). When the windows we would have 5-7 up in a short period of time. When they closed; it was tough. Best time of day for us was from after 3:00 PM.

| How far were you driving one-way to get to good muskie waters from Moosehorn, curiously? |

| It depends on whether you run pelican falls or not. If you put in at either Hudson ( closer to moosehorn) or deception you're not looking at a far run at all...Ten minutes tops if doing 45-50 mph. |
