Location: Stevens Point, Wisconsin | I am getting the same white thin line when in down scan whether it be over mud, weeds rock or any bottom feature. I have tried adjusting my settings but cannot get it to go away. Any thoughts?
Its a thin white broken line that shows a few feet off the bottom. I will try and attach a picture.

| That is fish reveal. Turn it off if you dont want the line. It is usually caused by having the 2d and 3D mounted at different levels. It is also influenced by the sensitivity setting in fish reveal. Fish reveal combines 2d with 3d in the image with the highlighted area above the fish or structure and is doing this on the bottom of your pic. |

Location: 31 | Wouldn't Ed have noticed the fish color change with the resent software update?
It's honestly so new to me I haven't spent much time on it and could actually use some help with the Fish Reveal feature. I don't use my 2D sonar that much while trolling... almost exclusively just use down scan and side scan in tandem.
I don't see that much advantage so far for my boat... how do you like it so far Jim? Now if there was a way to get the color fish reveal to work on the SS.

| Fish reveal has many pallet colors to choose from along with contrast/colorline settings to make more color or less. Fish reveal only works in downscan mode and is much like downscan overlay on 2d. What it does is overlay the fish hooks on downscan so you can interpret fish easier. The pallet choices and colorlines are used so you can see the arches on various colored pallets. |

Makes sense thanks Jim, impressed with your Lowrance knowledge.
