| Last year I heard a bunch of people disappointed, including myself, that there were not any brats or beers at the show. I understand the reason for the lack of beers is because it’s a college campus where it is not permitted. Does anyone know if it is acceptable to fire up a BBQ and have a few beers in the parking lot?
Might be a fun get together.

| I'm out, going to be hanging in a Mexican Resort Hotel Room confirming my marriage over and over and over during the honeymoon while the Chicago Show is going!!! But I am all for tailgating + swap-meet-drunken-bash-ola up at the Milwaukee Show. I'll even throw the full weight of Slamr Productions into the planning of the event(s), hehe.

| That would be great. I can't wait for the swap meet. Missed it last year but went to the one in minnesota. I will be bringing stuff.
Looks like there will be a couple more with one in madison and another one in wisconsin plus milwaukee. |

I think we can thank Slamr for setting up the first lure swap. Unfortunately he won't be at the show this year due to a massive mistake in wedding planning at the Slamr house. Who wants to take charge of this year's event?
The bar at the hotel was o.k. with enough space for our stuff but it wasn't a ton of fun (Typical hotel bar). Does anyone have any other ideas that are close to Harper? |

| The Alumni club is pretty close, but I don’t think you’ll be able to talk to each other due to the volume and you’re jaws being dropped from staring at the hot young babes. There is a crab shack nearby that has a blues bar attached. That may be an option. Maybe Joe is playing there that weekend. |

| I hereby take back all rips that I may have levelled at jm_03 (aka furry, aka Mr.T, aka Mudd Butt) in the past. As the bringer of the Popeye's Chicken he is currently #2 in my book (musky book that is), only in second because Boro just got a new boat, and ahead of Running Hot because he just never seems to be able to fish when I do. There, done, now stop crying JOE! Oops, did it again, just can't stop myself.....I have a few addictions, ripping on you is the ONLY one I'm going to correct!

NXTWRLDRCD - Perhaps I've jumped the gun, Odouls, or whatever it was called at the hotel was prety convenient, not to mention cheap (free). Your ideas are good ones if we want to go ooooooogle [:devil:] but I don't think we'd want to be draging in rods and baits there.
My only gripe with that place was that it was too "nice" for a lure swap. |

| There is a great bar called Stadium Club at Algonquin and the highway for the swap meet. I am only going to the meet if SLAMR spares some of those deadly custom colored jakes and jerkbaits. This guy really knows how to paint a lure. Jim Wilson should be jealous!
