Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | I'm even more pissed as I've been chasing that fish for the last 3 weeks! I can tell it's the exact same place with the background and the bouy in the pic. I had it chasing my LOW Rider pushing water and snapping all the way in. He's also come up several other times on topwater. Good for him, sucks to be me.

| We caught a 49 on that spot last year, wonder if it's the same fish?
Just wondering why he had you take a photo, looks like he's got a boat partner. |

| I will have to study that picture and figure out where it is. Will have to add it to areas to fish next year. Nice fish. |

| That guy is my new hero, way to go. Any 50"+ fish on a metro lake is one heck of a fish. I hope she went back so others might someday have a photo opportunity with her. capt bigfish |

| So how far did they transport the fish to get to your boat? Granted I've never caught a 50" while fishing alone, let alone ever, but I never have tracked down another boat to take a picture. How far is acceptable to transport a fish for a picture even slowly in the net at boatside, if it is acceptable at all? Shouting distance? Sight Distance? I noticed a boat partner as well and wondered why he didn't take the pic. Maybe they didn't have a camera.

| Not sure if they were TOnka or not, but the latest issue of Musky Hunter has 2 50+ inch fish from Metro Lakes. What a great fishery to have. Wish we had it a little closer to Rochester. Why did the Mayo brothers have to settle here? Wish it would have been further North. Oh well. I will gladly drive the distance for a long morning of musky fishing.
