Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Heavy fog and 45 degree temperatures were the story early this morning on the Three Lakes Chain in Northern Wisconsin as boats took to the water for the 1 day tournament. Anglers are reporting spotty muskie action with the current cold front, with brisk northeast winds supposed to switch out of the SE as the day goes on. I'll be running the 'weigh in' at the end of the day, stay tuned for more photos and a few interviews after the tournament concludes this evening.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | With tough conditions blanketing the tournament, big east winds made the fish a little tight lipped today on the Three Lakes Chain. Anglers battled through it, and put up a good number of fish considering the weather. Techniques were all over the board, from jerkbaits to the kitchen sink. The first place team landed their fish on smaller bucktails, and told me they also lost 2 other fish. This was the first of 4 PMTT one day events this year, spots are still available for the next 3. Thanks to all who participated and we'll see you next month in Manitowish Waters.
