Got a new 620 with casting deck and present tackle boxes with vertical planos in them won't fit under casting deck. Checked into Justen Case, really nice but really don't want to spend another 1300 bucks for a tackle box. Any ideas. I know I will hear "if you can afford a Ranger, you can afford a Justen Case............" I know I can put some Planos in the port rear storage nicely, might try to to make some storage unit to fit nice into the carpeted starboard side, and/or under the casting deck. Could also thin out the amount of lures I have.............. probably won't happen

Buy a couple just encases that you can carry. He will make them without lids for you and you can just slide them under your deck extension.

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | If you know someone who is a touch handy with a table saw, they could make a case that would hold your Plano's vertical, and with a bungee of some sort across the front, the plano cases would stay in place.
I would think, though, on a 619 or larger, you could get 2 cases end to end maybe?
If the whole case was build on something that slides easily, you could pull it out, get what you need, then push it back in..

I like the idea of sliding just encase boxes, likely way cheaper than a built in

Sell the deck and use money to buy the JustEncase deck box. Worth every penny. You will be a happy person.
