| Don't get me wrong I wouldn't use anything else. Just having another small issue.
The Auto Pilot seems to be stuck on, can't turn it off (or on) with the foot pedal, only with the remote. It's on as soon as the trolling motor is deployed. Anyone ever see that and know how to fix it? |

| One time this happened to me, I angerly dunked it in the lake a few times... not smart but worked, my dads terrova pedal has been dunked many times and never broke as well his was for steering though |

Location: oswego, il | Do a search for the issue there seems to be videos and people on message boards having the issue. Mine is 11 months old.and i have to take it apart to find out why it will not stow without manually moving the motor cradles. |

Location: MN | It sounds like your pedal has dirt, sand, mud under it, limiting your contact points for proper function. A Q-tip or light bristle toothbrush will work well to clean those off. |

If I understand your issue correctly, is sounds like the cradles and deployment arms need lubrication. Grease your latch points and slide arms, done by taking the side panels off the motor. Some lithium grease (or lower unit grease) will work well to keep everything lubed up and functioning as it should. Although low-maintenance, trolling motors are not no-maintenance. |

Location: oswego, il | I did silicone spray everything. Turns out the plastic wing nut on the quick release bracket was keeping the actuator from moving all the way. Not sure if it is the correct bracket, it was the one on the power drive which i replaced, hole pattern was the same but i already shaved the wing nut down forn8t to turn i will just use a bolt and be done with it. |
