A foggy, cooler than average morning greeted anglers for the day 2 take-off at the Cave Run PMTT. Slow fishing was the story on day 1, with 12 fish registered between the 95 teams. Smaller presentations seemed to be the key to finessing the post spawn fish into biting. High temperatures today should push back into the upper 60's, possibly offering a late morning feeding window. Stay tuned to muskiefirst.com for updates and a live feed from the awards ceremony today at 3pm eastern.

Reports running on the slow side again today, with the cold front and post spawn conditions giving the fish a case of lockjaw. The silver lining is that every team is in it, and 1 fish could get you in the money. Anglers are hoping for that midday window to cap off the weekend.
