Location: New Lenox, Illinois | Anyone having issues trying to run the new hummingbirds of the universal transducer in the ultera? Just picked up my new rig, first time in the water this weekend and was getting crazy reading on my bow mount hummingbird paired to the ultera transducer. |

Location: Madison, WI | Is it just when you run the motor or anytime the unit is on? If the screen only goes crazy while the motor is running, call minn kota and they’ll send you this metal ring that you wrap the cord from the transducer through that eliminates distortion. My Terrova did it bad and that ring cleared it right up. Best part was they sent it for free. |

Location: MN | What model of unit is hooked to the US2? Any DI/GPS model hooked to US2 will generate interference at first and do damage to the unit long term. If you plan to use a DI unit up front, you will need an external transducer for the unit that mounts to the trolling motor. Only SONAR/GPS and SI/GPS models should be connected to US2.
If that is not an issue, then check to see if the 3 amp fuse in the head of the motor is blown or not. Check out the link below for more details.

| Di units will not work with us2, find the setting in sonar and change "surface clarity" to 8, many other changes can help, clear more, sensitivity less in shallower water, if you leave the console sonar on you could switch it to 83 hz and the bow to 200hz |
