Location: Lake St Clair | I bought a boat with a Trol A Matic plate installed. I’ll never walleye troll so I’m looking to remove it, looks like 4 bolts so it shouldnt be too hard. Any precautions I should take here or just unbolt it, remove the plate and put the bolts back in with some silicone?

You could also use some jb weld putty to fill the holes, do a little sanding with a block sander, little bit of primer and paint and it's all done.
