Location: Illinois-Indiana | Just curious as to what line everyone uses for backing on their reels.
I used to take all my reels in to get them re-lined, just ordered a big ol spool of Spectron and need to oder some backing line. |

Location: oswego, il | I use 6 or 8lb mono for backing. It packs alot harder on the spool. IF I get to the backing from fighting a fish, it's my partners fault for not going after it anyway. |

Location: Rockford Il 61108 | Hello guys, I just bought a Abu 5600C5 mag reel and 65pd proline with a diameter of 16. I didnt use any backing. Is it okay not to use backing because this reel is new to me? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Location: Valentine, NE USA | I have either 10# or 12# mono on all my reels. Don't waste a whole lot of money on it, though. Save your cash...buy more lures!!!
