Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hi everyone,
Taking delivery tomorrow on a ranger 617 and started thinking about level pulling with my truck.
Can someone on their ranger rig quickly measure the distance from the bottom of the hitch to the floor when your trailer is completely level? I believe the trailers are all basically the same design for the most part (215/75R14 is my tire size...I'm assuming they all are around this regardless of number of axles)
Thanks everyone!!

| if you have a newer F150 get a 4" drop hitch. I regularly pull a 681 and 617 and they're both level. |

| Ranger recommends 16-18" top of tongue to ground.

| Hi Steve
I haven't dropped a level on the trailer with the boat hooked up (thanks for this, now I have to go do it) but I'm level (visually anyway) pulling a 681 VS with a 3/4 ton Silverado. 18.75" to the top of the ball with the truck empty. Guessing here but that would put the bottom of the tongue somewhere around 17" when the boat is hooked up.

Is that with or without the garage storage bins in the boat? |
