Location: Southwest PA | I'm pretty sure my grandma had the biggest spoon on the market. It hurt like he'll whenever she would give us a good whacking with it. I think eppinger makes the second largest, their biggest red eye wiggler is only slightly smaller than my hand and they have some massive daredelves too I think up to a little over 3oz. |

Yes, i guess depending on you're state or province of origin dictates whether or not 8" is a big bait. ![](https://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/images/emoticons/smile.gif) |

| Make your own. Go get a garden shovel and take the spade end off , drill one hole for line tie and one for the hook. |

Does the spade style work better then the square end? |

| At https://www.hagensfish.com/, they sell a 12 inch "novelty casting spoon" that looks like a Daredevil. It appears to be intended for gag gifts, but I was thinking it looks about the right size for a big musky.

Location: Sycamore, IL | Mike King, AKA Kingfisher on this site used to make a 12" trolling spoon. Do a search in the basement baits section for some pics. Not sure if he makes them anymore or not... |
