Location: Shoreview, MN | Does anybody know if you can swap out the gears to turn a C3 into a C4? seems like it should work. I have an old C3 that I use for jerkbaits where the faster pick-up would be helpful.

Location: Waukee, IA | Yes, they're interchangeable. I have C3 gears in my C4 to make it better for trolling. |

| Make sure you swap both the main and pinion gear. |

| C4s, at least when I had them (the smaller ones), had absolutely no torque. Not sure if that'll happen with what you are doing, but just something to consider. |
