Looking for some opinions from those who have used this Reel. What do you think? Compare to others at similar price point? Is there another reel is their lineup more suitable that I should be considering?

Thanks in advance for the replies

I do not have one but i looked on their website and they only have one that i would consider a smaller musky reel. A vendor at the general fishing show across from the west bend musky show sold out of the reel musky reel. Looks like alot of people are going to give it a try.

I was wondering the same thing...not alot of reviews out there. I inquired about service centers in Canada and closest is Florida which to me is a downfall in case of any issues.

Local dealer rep recently informed me that many of the A3's parts are interchangeable with the Okuma Komodo (maybe the 350 series?) with exception of the gear material (A3 Brass | Komodo Stainless). Makes sense considering the cost of tooling and the fact that many other brands like Abu & Pflueger have parent companies.
Okuma is the LG of reel manufacturing and has been at it for quite a while but maybe Pikemaster could chime in and confirm one way or the other.

Okuma also makes the machines that make the parts

Ive got A3 along with like 5 lexas 4 beasts a Rocket and a Toro S along with Tranx 400hg...The A3 is a hell of a reel...probably the smoothest of all of these and def has one of best cast distances as well. Cant beat 30lbs of Drag too...great reel for money just not a double ten reel IMo
