| Does anybody have any opinions on bucktails or spinnerbaits
with black or white blades in certain situations? i've never
seen anyone fishing them, but i see them for sale in
different components catalogs.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I use white quite a bit. I find that the white blade is as effective as chrome anyday, and can add just a hint of color wih a spray can of Fl. paint. |

Location: oswego, il | I really like white blades. My biggest fish this year has come on one of my big baits with a white colorado blade on it. White is good in any water clarity as well. |

Location: Racine, Wi | I do really well using black blades. I would consider it a go to color. Both on bucktails, and spinnerbaits. Not many people use that color. I think it's someting the fish don't see much, and it works under all kinds of weather and skies.
Good lungen,

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I use alot of bucktails with white blades. Have caught a bunch of fish on them and a Mepps with a white blade and a black/white tail is one of my go to baits. There are many waters I fish where the white really jumps out at you. I don't have the same confidence with black but there is no reason it wouldn't also work. |

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | If I remember correctly, white throws the largest sillowet (sp), and black throws the smallest. I just bought a black eagletail (sorry Witchdoctor) with a black blade and the blade seems to be invisible. The Voodoo tail I have with the pearl blade seems bigger by the same account. |
