Anyone ever troll Bagley monster shads? How do they hold up? Obviously you aren’t gonna be able to pound rocks with them. They aren’t thru wire... Has anyone else had a Muskie break the lip off?

In the net i have but only once. They hold up well and alot of muskies have been caught on them. I have one with a dozen fish and still going strong.

I just bought one. I don’t troll much but plan on casting it. Got the 5” perch pattern. Sweet looking Lure.

I'll never use one again. Had a lip pull out on a fish while trolling. Older style with through wire construction are okay. Still not a very durable bait as far as I'm concerned. All of the ones I've used have developed cracks. Not bouncing them off the bottom either. Just open water trolling. I really wish they would toughen them up. Tom
