| I was wondering if anyone had a way to quickstrike rig or even rig a sucker that would make the sucker swim up towards the surface yet still swimming in the direction of the boat. i.e. something like a big floating jighead, but without the gaudy float. thanks

| About the only thing I could think of would just be a short line below a bobber. It would take a fair size float in front of a sucker to keep it up top. | |

| Actually my friend and I just experimented with the type of thing you are talking about, though we meant it as a type of Lindy rig for big suckers. My friend Ryan Jinkerson(of Rylur) wanted to get his suckers up off the bottom, whilke still holding contact with it. I said, try a float, and we devised a large Balsa slip on with a stop that floats the sucker up while using a lead core or walking sinker. This has probably done before, so I'm not saying we pioneered it, but something of this variation might work for you without the weight. | |

| Kyle,
Your e-mail addy isn't working. I sent you more info on the boat, and it came back.
Speaking of boats, Steve W. I'm selling my Tuffy, and want to buy a new 1760 Esox Deep V. When can we get together for a test run in yours. Let me know.
Tight Lines, all,
