Location: princeton,mn. | Ive been there twice this year, zilch for me, my buddy got a beutifyl 48" tiger, see attached photo. We always see alot of fish there, but at times they can be tough to catch. Water is crystal clear. Ive had my best luck with oddball colored spinner baits, such as Rad Dogs, and CJ's. Also had alot of lookers on a Triple D. Most of the fish we raised were on suspemded reef's. Good luck!

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Hi welcome to MuskieFirst. Unfortunately due to other commitments, I only fished Kagagi/Crow in late June for 1 day, what an awesome piece of water. I'm going back. We got chased off by a late afternoon thunder storm just as the fish were turning on ( I did connect with a 39.5"). If I were you, I'd get in touch with Bob Pieske (MF handle "rpieske") . Bob fish's both LOTW and Crow all summer & can definitely offer some good advice. Plus, he's one of the most likable muskie fisherman you'll ever meet. Good Luck Al Warner http://www.zaltnad.com

Location: St. Louis, MO., Marco Is., FL, Nestor Falls, ON | Hey Al:
Thanks for the kudoes. It was good seeing you this summer. Hope to repeat the same next year. I'm back in St. Louis for a while, then off to Mexico and on to Florida for the winter. Turned up about 60 muskies this summer with the largest a little over 50". Didn't fish much muskies from mid July till early Sept. My wife came up and then some walleye fisherman friends of mine (yes! I do associate with walleye fishermen!). Soooooo, I didn't do much muskie fishing. But still did well when I did manage to talk them into it.
Paul, if you are heading to Crow soon, give me a holler at [email protected] and I'll try to tell you what little I know. My son caught a 52", 2-48" and the rest of us caught a bunch in the mid to high 40's last opener. This year was a little tougher on Crow. It was really resort weather up there most of the year. Muskie fishing on Crow should start getting pretty good soon. We saw some aircraft carrier sized ladies cruising around right before I left, but they weren't taking. The lake trout will be moving up on the reefs when the water cools down as they get ready to spawn. Should make muskie fishing interesting. Send me an email and I'll try to get into specifics as time allows. Moving my mom into a retirement home and selling her house and stuff. Busy! But always check my mail. Good luck up there.

Mike is the owner and a muskie fisherman. He usually posts updates in his message board. I was up there last year. Moved numerous small fish...missed a few strikes...never boated any. It is a beautiful lake...LOOK OUT FOR THE ROCKS THOUGH!...good luck!

| MuskieIAm...I have small group heading to Crow this weekend...we will have 6 guys on Sunday, but on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday we will be down to 5 guys...we will be fishing with 2 guys per guide/boat, therefore, 1 guy will have a guide to himself and as such, we could fit you in with us on any/all of those days if interested ... $60 per day would get you in a guided boat with a fellow muskie fisherman. If interested, email me at [email protected] ...
What camp are you staying at on Crow?
