| Here is a list of when the meetings are to discuss if the DNR is going to lift the spearing ban on these lakes, or make them permanent. Please try to make the meetings in your area. The darkhouse association is orginized for these meetings, so please get out and let the DNR know how you stand on this.

In the Outdoor News they say "The meetings will be held in September and early October in the county where each lake is located. Written comments will be accepted for up to 10 days after the meetings". Check out the MN DNR web site for details.
