Location: Chicago, Beverly | 42.5" mid august, large storm fronts moving in directly north and 3 hours west. Partly sunny over the lake. Custom Musky Mugger Spinner bait, 3ft of water heavy weed cover. I could see crappie and shad in the middle of this small pocket clear of weeds(about 30ft in diameter), cast across it and saw her come out of the weeds....WHAM!!!! |

46.5-47 no good measurement was taken, on a super shad rap.
both fish were over 30 and slobs for their length.

That, and I've never gotten a true muskie, only tigers. I live too far away from the trues now, all I have is tigers (am darn glad I have those to chase though).
