| I have a 5.4.1 revo winch. I don’t throw very big lures, most would consider most of my lures large bass baits. Although I do have a couple medium baits 2-3oz. The revo is only pulling 22” per turn, is that too slow? Or would It still be somewhat effective? |

| Depends on thd application
I would use the winch for big blades and crankbaits when i want to fish them with a straight slow retrive or when im using swimbaits |

| It is not the Toro. I understand it may not last as long as the heavier reels. But I rarely throw baits over 2 ozs. |

| Is 22” IPT too slow for slow rolling spinners or crankbaits? |

Location: Smith Creek | It's too slow for picking up slack, whether you are twitching baits or fighting fish. I'd rather slow roll with a reel that is capable of speed when i require it. |

| Would work well with bass size crankbaits and blades but would get destroyed with muskie size crankbaits and blades |

| I tried using that reel for Muskie Fishing its just way too Slow...I hardly ever even use my beast 4.9 because its too slow as well and its 27IPT...IF you slow rolling blades maybe but 22 is turtle slow |

| That reel is good for fishing cranks like the Rapala Super Shad Rap, baby cow girls, Diawa SP minnows, and small Storm Flatsticks.
Don't use it for anything bigger though, it won't last.
At the same time, it is easier to slow crank with a fast reel then fast crank with a slow reel. Better to have a reel with speed on tap when you need it. |

| I used to use the Revo Winch for throwing big cranks and big minnow lures for big walleye, it fills that niche perfectly.
Get yourself a Komodo 471 or Diawa Lexa 400HD if you want to get serious about throwing musky sized cranks. |
