| So, being a guy who's fishing is done 95% from the shore, casting distance never seems to be enought for me.
Anyone know any 2pounder rods that are longer than 9 feet, i know about the custom thorne bros but they seem limited at 9'6 or 9'8
Thanks for any help |

Location: Land of the Musky | Custom made, you can probably get whatever you need... Production made, Tackle Industries makes a 9 XXXH and Toothtamer also make a really heavy rod that could handle 2lb lures. Not sure of any other rod companies that make a rod for that vs going to an offshore salt rod. I think Musky Innovations used to make a super heavy rod too but I have not seen that one for years...
Another idea is, Tackle Industries does have a 10'6" XXH telescopic blank. With about 4 inches taken off the tip it would be a decent rod too. |

| The 10'6 foot rod with a part cut off does sound like an interesting idea
How much would you recommend i take off to get similar power to the xxxh?
