Location: Pillager, MN | Can you say FINALLY? After having gone to Mille Lacs about a dozen times and only boating two fish, it finally kicked out some nice fish for me. I usually figure 2-3 days on any lake and I'll boat a fish or two, but the big lake really had my number. After only an hour and a half, Gregg had already netted two of my fish, a 43 1/2" and a 45". I lost another nice fish at the boat, narrowly missing the triple for the day. We saw a ton ot other fish including a couple of real brutes. The thing that amazes me is that I saw more fish with Gregg than ALL the other trips (by myself and with partners) combined and he said it was a "slow" day. Gregg has this lake absolutely dialed in. I think he's about done guiding up here for this year, but if you're looking for some awesome fishing I'd highly recommend booking your trip for next year.
