Anybody use them? I like how some of these baits look in the water and do catch fish. Some are large bass baits but work well. I just picked up a GG Gin Tuna, has the thump of a crane twitchbait, stays shallow and turns 90 degrees on the pause every time. I cannot wait to use it this spring. I bought another 7" bait from them and it was pretty tame. It trolled ok and got a fish on it that way but for casting, about like a stick. Stuck the net in the water a few times for the jackall kawashi mikey and standard mikey too. The savage gear slow float and 10" models are no longer made and what a shame they catch fish. I wish Hulbert's shadillac was still made as well as the shad shaped bait the guy made were still being sold. I have had weekends where i never took that shad bait off.

For those that use hard body swimbaits, what ones do you like?

Now this is my company, not me personally using them currently as I have no time to fish.... LOL but I am selling a TON of Nokken lures out. About half are to musky guys and hale to Inshore guys but I am getting a lot of emails from both sets of buyers these are doing really well. Of course I want you to buy the Nokken lures but I am sure most lures in this general category are doing well right now.

PS-My personal fav is the Rapala J18 but those are a little small for musky...

I have done well on the TI dinko, and the reaction strike revolution shads, unfortunately they dont seem to last in the long run, but they do catch fish.

Ive partly or completely removed the lip from the revoshad with good results.

I've used the Mega Trout quite a bit and that's an awesome swim bait, great action.

I have a nate's 11 inch swimbait that looks great in the water, but I rarely use it. No confidence

The nate bait shad is awesome. I only have one left, the screw eyes tend to break at the joint but i am very agressive with the bait. Great action. By far my favorite next to the discontinued 4-play slow float. A big part of that is both of those baits run deeper than the straight crank got to see the strike tv friendly models that are out there.

White Knuckle cranks work well casting or trolling, unfortunately they quit making them several years ago.

I might have to give it some more time on the water, or sell it to you. I thought it might be a good trolling bait.

I like the savage gear 4-play herring that slowly sinks. I never tried the floating one with the lip. Ive done great with it pike fishing up north right after ice out. I rip it a little bit, then let it sink all the way to the bottom and sit for a second, then rip again.

Another vote for Adam's Mega Trout. Unfortunately no longer made. You can work it tons of different ways and it casts a country mile. I haven't tossed it much and its put a few in the boat.

The jackall gantrral is a great bluegill swim bait. They absolutely crush it when you get hit.

^^^^ what he said, great lure. I also am a HUGE fan of the Lucky Lures Large Swim bait. It catches fish when others cant, but it comes with a steep price tag and a long wait to get one.
