| So its not lures but i thought i would share anyway.
I think the frontgrip on my Big nasty is a bit to thin, and I keep getting cramps i my fingers, so i 3D printet a couple os ABS shells with an internal geometry to match the handle, they are a bit smaller diameter, so the "clamp" on to the corck.
Gave it some electrical tape, and shrink wrap.
Worked like a charm, cant wait to give it a go on the water.

Location: mercer wi | I do the same think but use a small piece of xflock to protect the cork then build it up with electric tape then xflock over. I hate the skinny for grip on the split grip legend |

| Lol my hands aren't that big i just this weird spasms in my pinky fingers :D
Thanks for the comments
I have done similar previously with grip-tape from tennis rackets, but it seems to get worn down rather quickly. I Also considered adding some electrical tape to the cork to protect it, but the shells had a nice fit, so skipped that idea, might play with different shapes as well, once i have tried this out a bit, and maybe adding it to some of my other rods. |

Location: mercer wi | Don't put electronic tape directly on cork. If you ever go to remove it the glue on tape leaves a horrible mess. I put skein tube on first then tape then tube. Those 3d printers are awesome. |

| Thanks, but ive put electrical tape directly on the cork on with several other rods, when i removed the tape, i just cleaned it with some light solvent and brushed it lightly with some fine sandpaper and it looked like brand new. |

| All the Musky LTs got an upgrade, the Big Dawg (to the far right) had a longer thread section and i could extend the grip a bit more than an inch, toward the reel.
