| Hi, all Oh boy another site to check out great. I am going up to the wiley point area the last week of july first week of August have never fished muskie's in canada or been on Lotw before. I was wondering if any of you could give me some info on what colors are good to bring up there such as bucktails (Blades/hair)is it a top water bite, bucktail bite, jerkbait or crankbait bite at that time of the year. Also can I be expecting a bloom of some kind. Any info I would greatly appreciate.
Thanks JIM G | |

| I have fished all over the LOTW, and find the topwater, spinnerbait, and bucktail bite to be hot that time of year. Colors include black/orange, chartruese, white, and brown/yellow. | |

| My neted my partners 48.5" last year near the camp where you are staying. It hammered a 10" jointed firetiger Slammer. So yes bright colors were best for us that week in August last year.
Good Luck,
