  | So dad and I thought about it the other day and we are on our best streak since we began muskie fishing together regularly 4 seasons ago. We have had a fish hit the net the last 7 trips out. I am sure it can't go on much longer. The size has been down a fair bit but I can't complain about the action. What your best streak? Or maybe your worst? |

Location: Wakefield, MI | There's a lake near me that we've never had much luck on but always go back to. A couple of years back me and my dad had I think three weekends in a row of 2 muskies a day both Saturday and Sunday. Since then it's back to normal.

Worst streak was a couple of years ago, I caught a 37" on a figure 8 in July and for the rest of the season I was exclusively the net man, didn't get a single 'ski the rest of the year. |

Location: St. Lawrence River | One of my fishing partners and I put 9 in the bag, on 5 trips. Including a 3 fish night. And 2 50+" fish back-to-back. All on pretty tough water... |

  | This summer has been my best streak, fished about 15 days total with only 1 skunk. I had fished musky for about 15 years and have yet to land a 50 at the start of the season.
For this season I have put 20 fish in the boat in with only 3 under 40", including a 50.5, 51 and a 53.5. All fish came from Green bay or St Clair. The best morning was 4 hours on the water with 6 fish in boat bt 2 people.

For the worst streak I went a full season with only one fish, wont comment on how much I fished that year... |

Location: Hayward, Wisconsin | Caught 3 one day and then went three years on Eagle with only a 15 incher! BUT, you would kill for the 4 largest seen and not gotten during those 3 years. They say it is better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all...I'm not so sure. |

  | A few years ago I had a great streak, never had a skunk. Put a fish in the net each weekend. The average size was small but I didn't care, a fish is a fish. Didn't keep track of the numbers but fish after fish. |
