Location: Mallard Island Lake Vermilion MN | Just 4 Fun post.
July 7 this summer my place Paradise Island beautiful lake Vermilion.
Connor, nice young man from across bay was out fishen on his homemade raft with trolling motor.
I was sitting on north dock with hounds pals watch'n cork n crawler an sunset.
In distance I hear: "Tom!' "Tom!"
"Need help, big fish on, Got a net" He yells.
I started to laugh when figure out what is going on an who it is.
"Come on over, bet right back" I yell as I ran up steps an to other dock into big black boat to retrieve net.
Connor works his way across bay to our dock whole time fighting the fishy.
Marauder boys on dock watch'n everything and happy to see me return.
My Bonnie comes down dock and shoots the whole deal for him / us.
Hound boyz Moe Rock n Bear Boy going crazy an in on every move as Connor gets closer to them / us.
Minutes later after a few fun power fishy runs an couple mini tense moments as Connor is docking skiff at dock...the Fish is in net thanks my expert net work an not loseing my baggy drawers.
I show Connor how to grab n hold his prize.
We quick photo up, Big Smiles.
Moe Rock cuts of brother Bear Boy an is in full smiles also.
Then off she goes into the bay to Grow biggier an fatter an give someone else the smiles she gave us all.
Whole deal all went down very fast and was a total gas.
You can not fake this type life fun.
Oh. Did I mention Connor is 16 and has a broken right wing. Arm.
Absolutely fun experience for us all.
Timing is everything and everything happens for a reason. To fun.
Thanks Connor, Bonnie, Mrs. Muskiefish and the marauder hound boyz for an adventure I will not soon forget!!
