Subject: Spinner Blade Cleaning?

As you can tell from my other recent post i am cleaning up and fixing my lures. Do you guys no of any solution to use to clean spinner and bucktail blades. Mine has got melted crap all over them. Thanks and good fishin!!!

I have shined up my brass blades like the buchertails with a brass polishing cream. Makes dull tarnished ones look bright and shiny again.
Try anything that will cut thru it like rubbing alcohol or even gas. Be sure to wash well with a scent free soap after however. Don't be leaving those smelly traces on the lures.

Flitz. great stuff, and protects the blade for a time against more staining. Comes in a blue and silver tube, I think. Polishing compound takes a close second.

Brasso works well for polishing Blades as does Tarnex

Steve hit it right on the nose. Flitz is some great stuff. It comes in different sizes, so if you just want to try a little, buy a small tube. You will be very happy with the results though.
