Hi, I'm new to this... I believe I couldn't? find a forum with this question, but please point it out to me if there is.
I fish mostly dark water or algae green, and looking for a post frontal bait for rocks.
Do you usually go smaller or bigger, post frontal?
Do you go rattles or quite?
If people have opinions on a different bait than listed in the subject please suggest them as well.
Thanks

Bucher loves his jointed Shallow Raider post frontal on rocks. I'd love to fish it more but mine sink rather than rise up or be neutrally buoyant and they get hung up all the time. I like the Krisco for bumping rocks. I'm sure the jointed gramma would be good as well

Drill a small hole in the body of those shallow raiders and fill them with great stuff spray foam. Problem solved

Thats a really a good idea ^^. I might have to try that with some of mine that have holes and crevices in them.

Does the great foam fix mess up the rattles?

It does. But would you rather have a paper weight with rattles or a muskie lure without?

Good point.. I'll give it a shot......no comment on the jointed flatstick? I figured someone would have something to say about them, they seemed to to be a lindner got to bait and seem reasonably priced for a musky bait.

I like the large Flat stick floats at rest. Small jointed sinks ,I would prefer that it would rise . Small non jointed flat stick floats . I have caught some nice fish on large floating flat stick, deep rattle sound, seems to call them in dark or muddy water.
