| so today i went out for a little bit of shore river fishing with a buddy and on the second cast i hooked into her. took 15 mins but quite the experience especially since i caught a smaller 40 later that day

| I agree tiger tamer. Its a different experience when its on the fishes turf. Ive never waded for muskies, but I have had some 30min + battles with steelhead in big rivers where they pull a bunch of line out and you end up following them 100 yards out into the river. When your tripping over rocks, fighting the current, figuring out which way to go to follow them without falling in too deep, it makes for a much different experience.
