I am looking at getting either a TB Predator 9"6 XH or 9"6 XXH for Mag Dawgs and Dussas sum Pounders. What Rod would you recommend?

XH would be my recommendation as that can throw a very large bait. If you seldom throw pounders you could probably get a H action or possibly take 2" off the tip on the heavy.

If you are strictly throwing large rubber with it, I'd go with the xxh

XH is awesome. I can throw just about anything with it.

Since your getting a Thorn Bros predator talk to Lonnie. Tell him what you want the rod for and let him give you the oppshions and then decide

9' 8" XH no doubt - perfect rod for what you want to throw!

I also went with the 18" butt. I like it for lobbing rubber but in the fall it can be a little long with a lot of clothes on.
