I can pick up the Daiwa Lexa 300HS-P pretty cheap. What are your guy's thoughts on this holding up for musky? I do not throw huge baits often at all. Mostly jerk baits, crank baits, double 8s, and bulldawgs.

I have 2 of the HD Lexa. Never had any issues, fits well in the hand and just add some oil here and there and you are good to go. Fast pick up is great for jerks and burning small bucks. L

Was thinking about buying this reel myself actually I have the 400 HSP and its great just a big reel so want to get the 300 easier to palm and will def hold up to Muskie..Might upgrade bearing after a season or two with PIkemaster but cant beat the reel for the Money

Also So you know I saw the one your talking for around $130 they also have the HD version with the upgraded bearings and gears I believe...the one your talking is 32IPT they also have a 300XS-P in the HD Reel....its got the upgrades and its 37IPT and that one is like $188

amazon my man can get the 400 for $170ish not the HD but reg 400HS-P I just ordered the 300XS-P with power handle for $187 I believe...cant go wrong reel is solid as hell I have the 400HS-P and my bro throws the 400-P both tanks

I have 2 400 HSL-P's and 5 300 HSL-P's I like the 300s for small cranks,gliders, small rubber and smaller bucktails 7s and 8s the 400s are my big rubber Double 10s and above reels. I give them a good lubing a couple times a year and never had an issue with them.
