| Is it possible to put a 20" motor ( Yamaha 200 SHO 20" Shaft) on a boat with a 25" Transom using a 6"+ Hydraulic Jack Plate? If it was set up so the motor is at the right height on the jack plates lowest setting, is there any reason it wouldn't work? Just thinking of possibilities, Thanks. | |

Location: Hayward, WI | It may put the motor too deep in the water. Then you can then run into issues with the exhaust under water at idle. | |
