| For those of you that use Headlocks, do you prefer one size over the other and if so when and why? I really want to buy one of each, but two would break the bank. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. | |

| I had the same conundrum so I went with the 10 inch. It will troll and I can cast it. Best of both worlds. The 12 inch can wait. | |

| My best success has been on 12" Mattlocks and Liplocks but I am generally trolling slower and the Mattlock starts to wander at much lower speeds. I am a big believer in larger trolling baits in MN and Canada but it depends on where you live. | |
