Location: Walker, MN | Just an update to all that helped with and made donations for this project, we are informed that things are moving along nicely on the goal of placing this sensitive area into a protected state property.
The Leech Lake Association has just made a contribution of $3500 to the the project!!
This is one good Lake Association, if you have not been to Leech Lately you will notice the lighted buoys at various parts of the lake for example the entrance to the Roosevelt Canal, these were bought and paid by the hard work of the Leech Lake Association.
I Will provide more info on the status of 5 Mile soon.

Really glad to hear things are going good. Thank you for the update, and to you and Dick and everyone else that worked on the raffle and getting the word out to everyone.
