Mine goes out as soon as I get home, sir. Thanks for bringing this situation to our attention. Muskie anglers DO take care of their own. There isn't a more generous group on the planet!

Thank you for the information Capt Larry. It's on the way.

Once in a while you really get a burden for someone who's hurting. My family and I have lifted Andy , his family, and friends up in prayer several times since you shared the news. My Uncle watched helplessly as his oldest son died before him in a farming accident. Even as strong Christians we've felt helpless at times during this grieving. I know we're thankful for the kind words, deeds and prayers of unknown people. They sustain especially my Aunt and Uncle. Our collective thoughts, prayers and generosity will really make a difference to the Luchovick family. God bless them all.

im in... great post dawg... man, what a sad story to read it was... if we could get all muskiefirst members to give a lousy ten bucks{less than one bait}! that would make a nice chunk for the fund... to a peaceful closure for the Luchovick family.god bless.

I know there are several of us on this board that have had the horrible experience of witnessing a loved one drown.I think it would be a great idea to do something as a group as well.Take a bunch of cash and put it into a 529 plan , and when it's time for college, it's paid for. When I read the account in the paper, brought back a lot of baaaaaad memories for me. I watched my uncle drown in Upper Post Lake in April of 1981. He and my dad were together and my dad survived. It's been 22 years and our lives were never the same.We spent the next 5 years dealing with lawyers as my aunt decided it was our fault (it was our boat)even though my uncle was driving. The whole family disowned us and here we are 22 years later. The case never went to trial. Some wounds heal and some don't.Anything we could do to ease the burden this young man must carry would be very worthwhile. Steve,
Andy's sister Sharon would like to express her families thanks for putting this post to the top and for the many donations that are coming in to the Trust for Andy Luchovick Jr..We can't change things back to the way they were before the accident for this little boy,but we can make his future a little brighter down the road, the Trust will pay for his education!
Thanks, Capt. Larry

Thank You! For those who took the time to care to donate to the Andrew Luchovick Jr. Trust.Hopefuly when Andrew Jr. becomes 21 years of age, there will be enough money there in the Trust to continue his education. Those who would still like to send in a donation to this great cause, may still do so.
Thanks Capt. Larry
