So just left the factory and got to check out new lt 10'. Pretty sweet rig. It's called the blade master. Super long rear handle in split grip.
Same specs as big nasty.
It's coming guys

Pretty cool. I extended the handle to about 18 inches on my new Big Nasty to make it 9'4" and have been liking it for blades and lots of other things. Blade Master is a good name for a 10 foot Big Nasty.

Sounds like an awesome rod.
I got my hands on a big nasty about a year ago and i love the rod, I don't fish a lot of blades but use it for gliders, top waters and medium rubber, so the 9 footer fits my needs perfect. I can only imagine how awesome a 10 foot version would be for the larger blades, and medium rubber.

Is this rod going to come out this fall? I was going to get another Nasty real soon. Maybe I need to wait...

They wouldnt give me a date. Wanted to take a couple of pic but had my kids with me and was trying to keep my 3 year old from pushing over the rack of elite rods. Would of been an expensive day if that happened. Rear grip was 19" and same palming sear as elite musky rods. Super light as well. Looked like they were redesigning the logo too.
Only thing I didn't like was the super long rear. So get excited you guys who like long rods.

Thanks for the reply! I hope they offer this in full cork. Not real sure if I even want to go 10 feet. Im sure most musky hunters would like a 10. I fish from a bass boat so I would be slapping the water! I figured they would come out with a 9ft 6in. Just another excuse for me to get a deep v/bigger boat!

Just picked mine up. Will be trying it out next week in Canada. Wish it was a elite version....
