"The talk will focus on Lake Monona's history from the early settlement days to the present. I'll be showing some of the artifacts I've come across while diving along with some of the (hopefully) more interesting things that has happened on Monona over the years (how sturgeon got here, mystery of the two lost ice fishermen & their car, the ice cutting market, etc.). For the fishing people there I plan on covering some of the natural and manmade underwater structure. I'll probably also have my laptop along with a "slide" show of photos I've taken underwater. This is a free talk sponsored by the church, and it was confirmed last night that there will be ice cream! I am not a professional speaker but hopefully will be able to keep most people snoring! Rick"
I have seen some of the underwater photos and they are very interesting. Hope to see some you there.
