so, me and a friend of mine have this vague idea of meeting up somewhere in canada or the US to fish for big muskie and lake trout during the summer of 2018

being from europe, i am not too familiar with the massive amount of lakes that exist on the north American continent so i hope you guys could give me your opinion on what would be a good trip.

so far, I understand that both LOTW and lake SC are awesome for big muskie.
Are there also big lake trouts in those lakes?
If not, what lake would be good for both those species?

Location: Lake Country, Wisconsin
Rowan Lake, Upper/Lower Manitou, Pipestone, or Crow Lake would all be ones I would start looking at. All have nice camps and what you guys would be looking for

Rowan is a great choice, Whitefish Bay on Lake of the Woods has huge muskies and decent size lake trout though I'm not sure there are any huge lakers there.

Would also need a guide for the days we will be there
