Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | I like the paddle better for picking up slack line. Since rubber doesn't really have much resistance there is not reason to use a power handle. If you prefer the power handle go ahead and use it but it doesn't offer any advantages while fishing rubber. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I like power handles when fishing rubber. I feel that my rips aren't as hard with a smaller double paddle handle. I don't notice it, but figure I'm pulling on the reel handle a bit when I rip the bait. Not excessively to the point of being hard on the reel or handle but it seelms to help stabilize things for me.
Plus I can use the same reel for blades and rubber with the power handle attached. |

Location: St. Lawrence River | I use the power handle on my beast 60hs all the time. It works great for rubber. Dont overthink things like this. Focus on keying in on fish lol. |

exactly I have the Power handle on my beast 60hs as well have counter balanace on all other reels...great for big rubber and when trying to burn dbl 10s without wearing yourself out trying to turn the Beast 4.9 I use power handle on 60HS and your good to go....now if im not burning 10s Ill run the beast 4.9 and its just butter...Now I agree the double paddle handle is just too small but I love the counter balance handle and power handle both great |
