Anyone doing any good on Silver this year? If so what are they eating? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't touched Silver in a while. I did hear a report of 1 guy popping a couple a week or two ago on bucktails near the launch, but other than that, nothing to report from here. I popped 1 fish there in late May on a minnowbait, but haven't been there in a while. Sorry I don't have more info for you. I try to stay off of that lake in the summer.
Let me know if you get out.

I went there about a month ago and saw a few small fish on a spinnerbait. None in the boat unfortunatly.

Robby D.

Aren't you sick of being chained? Just want to try something different...i.e. quiet H2O until 10...Nice.

I got her on a bucktail. She hit about 15 feet from the boat. I was working the bucktail pretty deep than raced it toward the surface. I saw the bucktail appear for a half second with a Large, white, open mouth behind it. The fish sucked my bucktail in and I hit her just as she turned. I buried 2 trebles in the corner of her mouth completely. She made a couple of runs toward open water then under the boat and broke water twice...What a sight. Praise God for giving me that opportunity. I hope to get out on Silver again in a few weeks. I'll let you know how I do.

Sounds good. I will definitely do that. I've been on Pewaukee and Okauchee alot lately, but the sucker bite is coming. One more weekend of the pleasure boaters!!!! I can head out for a few hours on the weekdays, but I am definitely staying off of there on the weekends for a couple of more weeks.
Good lungen

Sounds good. I'll be hitting the sack when he hits the water. I am hitting Pewaukee tonight and pulling an all nighter. 6 pack and a fist full of baits. Bring on the 'skis!

Was out Friday night 8/22 from about 630pm to 10pm. Threw hair, hawg wobblers and a twitch bait, never saw a single fish...ugh. Water temps were 79.
