February 25, 2017: Musky Factory
The Ottawa River, flowing several hundred miles throughout Ontario Canada, is rich in musky fishing lore, and has produced some of the largest muskies on record. Jim Saric and pro guide John Anderson pursue the giants of the Ottawa River, and John provides some interesting historical and biological facts regarding the Ottawa river that explain why it’s called, The Musky Factory

| Musky Boys fish the Ottawa with John Anderson (Ottawa Musky Factor) a lot. They are part of John's guide staff. Here's their top casting baits.

The each time I've fished the Ottawa with Marc Thorpe, the hot bait was something different: Red Octobers, Burts, bucktails, spinner baits. All depends on what the fish want.

Location: On the O | Topwater and bucktail bite is on right now. Black/orange, black/silver, black/red, see a pattern? Dark blades killed it two years ago, purple was hot last year, still trying to figure it out this year as the season has only been open 5 days.
