| Not 100% sure on details, but was told that there was a triple to win it. |

Location: God's Country......USA..... Western Wisconsin | Three fish to win. Joe Brezinsky and his partner won with a 34", 35 1/2" and a 37 1/2 ". Second place needed 2 fish including a 44"+ fish. 41 1/2" and 40 1/4" fish caught also. 19 fish total over 34" registered. None caught by my team or Cady's. We had a few bites and I caught one about 31" but no legals. Had a lot of fun and had a trully great dinner Saturday night at a place called Hick's landing west of Fifield on 70 then South about 3 miles. Also had a darn good pizza at the tourney headquarters on Friday night as well as a few Barley Pops. |

| Butternut is tough water to fish if you are not used to dark water.
Duck had one miss right at the boat but other than that we watched others catch fish on the same lures we were throwing.
Very frustrating.
We had to go to the crystal waters of the Minocqua chain on friday night & Sat. just to make sure everything was ok. Had nothing to do with the barley pops at Otto's or the fact it was Mardi Gras night at Otto's either.
CLOSED CIRCUIT TO THE MIDGE: R & H hotel is perfect...walking distance to all the favorite places.

| Mike,
Thought for sure you'd have gotten that place down by now! Nice try anyways.... Hopefully I'll be able to get back up there next year. Figures, the first year that Joe is able to fish it, he wins it!
